What is the NDIS

The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) is an Australian government initiative that provides funding and support for people with disabilities. It is designed to help people with disabilities live an ordinary life and participate in the community. The NDIS provides individualized plans, funding for support services, and access to assistive technology. The scheme is funded through taxes and is administered by the National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA).

You will receive notification from the NDIS by your preferred mode of communication (usually email or letter) to let you know your new plan is active. It will contain my place portal activation code, which expires within 10 days.

About 24 hours after your plan has been approved, it will be available on the NDIS myplace portal. You will usually also receive a printed copy of your plan in the mail.

We understand the importance of building a trusting relationship with support staff. While we strive to accommodate preferences, the availability of specific support staff may vary. However, we carefully match staff based on individual needs and strive to ensure compatibility and continuity of care.

To access Goodlife Care, you will need to have an approved NDIS plan. Once you have your plan, you can contact us directly to discuss your needs and the services we can provide.
